Queen of Hearts

Beth takes a look at Song of Solomon & gives a great explanation here.

Look, that book of the Bible makes me uncomfortable. Maybe if people realized how scandalously descriptive it is, there would be a lot less porn and a lot more bible reading. It reads like a romance novel. Danielle Steele’s got nothing on SoS.

My takeaway from Beth’s teaching & this book is how important the physical aspect of marriage is. It’s a reminder that God made sex and intended it not just for pleasure or child-rearing. He created it with a connection in mind.

That connection is what Solomon’s first love had. She was not only queen but queen of his heart.
Are you queen of your husband’s heart?
